Our History
With almost 50 years on the market, Estiva Refratários has been a standout in the supply of refractory furniture, rollers, and special parts made of cordierite and cordierite-mullite for the most diverse market segments.
Founded in 1977, with the initial idea of being just “an option to imported refractory products,” Estiva today is not only the largest in its segment in Latin America but has also become a reference in several countries, prioritizing the quality of its products, technological innovation, and, above all, meeting the demands of our clients and prospects.
Currently, it has two manufacturing units in Brazil and a newly inaugurated joint venture in Tunisia, with a total workforce of around 150 people.
The raw materials used receive special attention and processing to give the product characteristics that make Estiva a world-class supplier.
This distinction is not only due to the quality of its products but mainly because of the people involved in the entire process: clients, suppliers, employees, and business partners.
